MetaMask is a mobile app that enables users to connect to the decentralised web, also known as a new internet, whether they are new to blockchain or experienced users. The app is designed to serve both as a wallet and a browser, allowing users to buy, send, spend, and exchange digital assets, make payments to anyone, and log into websites securely to trade assets, lend, borrow, play games, publish content, buy rare digital art, and more.
MetaMask ensures that users’ keys and assets remain under their control, offering secure login and digital wallet to manage digital assets, generating passwords and keys on users’ phones to keep accounts secure, allowing browsing and connecting to decentralized web sites, and enabling users to control what information they share with the sites they use and what to keep private.
Users can import their existing wallet if they are already a MetaMask desktop user, or get help setting up their wallet if they are new users. Downloading MetaMask Mobile allows users to carry the decentralised web with them, wherever they go.
