Your data is always encrypted using 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), which has been adopted by the U.S. government and is used worldwide. You can also create backups and easily transfer your passwords to other devices using Dropbox, Google Drive, or a similar application.
Note that this is an offline password manager application, and there is no automatic synchronization between devices. If you lose your master password, the stored data cannot be recovered.
